I am a research assistant in Western University, where I recently got my PhD in cognitive psychology. My studies focus on the cognitive processing of reading. More specifically, the processing at the orthographic and following stages. I design and run behavioural experiments (sometimes with ERP measurement), and use R, Python or Matlab to do data analysis.
I speak Chinese Mandarin (first language), English and a little Japanese (passed JLPT N1). I also love nature and photography. In 2019, I got a binocular and a field scope, and started birding. WOW, why hadn’t I noticed there are so many lovely birds around me?!
This blog is powered by Hugo, and the theme is Hugo-classic with some modifications of mine. In this blog I’d like to share some of my work and photos with you, and hopefully develop some computer skills building it.
