Birding in Point Pelee National Park

The whole May is called the festival of birds in Point Pelee.

There were a lot of people going there to watch birds during this period every year. Most of them were carrying binocular or DSLR and talking about birds or ebird stuff. I wondered if all the ebird users of Canada were there during May. We even met a lucky boy ebirder from Toronto who just started birding 3 days ago but had already seen 100 kinds of birds.

We stayed there for one night. On the west beach we witnessed a breath taking sunset. One thing we learned is that most trees would have new leaves in the mid of May, which makes it difficult to see small birds like warblers. So we are planning to go to Point Pelee in the first week of May next year.
